Aimee's Canvas

Today I have something a little different to share. I've been creating some wall hangings for my daughter's room, but was having trouble with the layout. I then joined the new Challenge Blog, The Cutie Pie Challenge Blog. Their first challenge was a sketch, and a wonderful one too! Now I had what I needed to create the canvasl. So, above is the final attempt. You can see from the pictures, how the blank canvas was transformed! I'm pleased with the outcome, it's saved me searching for pictures for her room!

Recipe
  • My mind's eye papers
  • Wild Orchid Crafts, flowers, ribbon, lace and pearls.
  • Lotv stamped image.
  • Promarkers

New Stash arrived!!

Hi there, hope you all had a great weekend! I was lucky enough to be able to hide away and do some crafting. I've started a couple of projects but couldn't finish them due to a lack of crafty goodies. Guess what came today? Lots of lovely things from Wild Orchid Crafts, it was only ordered on Friday! My new stamps from Lili Of The Valley also arrived the day after they were ordered! So today I'm sharing with you a card made with new stash!

I'm going to enter this card into the challenge at Lili Of the Valley, they have a colour challenge using red, white and green.

Recipe
  • Stamp, lili of the valley
  • flowers and pearls, wild orchid crafts
  • paper, sorry had it for so long forgotten where it's from.
  • cardstock, co-ordinations at the glitter pot.
  • ribbon, from stash.
My next project has an LOTV image again, it's going to be an altered canvas for my baby girl's room, she moves into her own bedroom this week and I'm having so much fun decorating it!
Bye for now,

Starry Starry Night

Hi there, another christmas card done. This card was made using the following

  • Co-ordinations cardstock, snowflake, blue lightning and Royal.
  • Craft Creations paper, Snowflakes on blue
  • Woodware Stamps, polar bears.
  • Papermania adhesive stones in black and silver shimmer dots.
I love polar bears and the hugging bears is so cute. I'm going to enter this card into the following challenges.

Passion for promarkers, whose theme this week is "Beary Special", so the card must include image of a bear! Over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge they are having a fun challenge this week, to make a card with the title of a film or song in mind, so I'm entering into this challenge too. Thanks for looking, Clairexx

A Nearly Liquid Pearl Disaster

This card had me in tears. It was going so well until my liquid pearls exploded over the finished card! I added the decoupaged robin, tag and extra flowers to cover up the red liquid pearls. I thought I'd make a start on the christmas cards as it's roughly 15 weeks away! I going to enter this into Simon Says Stamps Challenge . Anyway, enough waffle from me, this is what I used on the card.

  • Co-ordinations cardstoc
  • My minds eye paperpack (snowed in)
  • Stardust Stickles
  • Holly Punch
  • Snowflake stamp
  • Twinklets
  • Chalks to alter colour of flowers.
  • Flowers from stash and you guessed it...
  • Red liquid pearls to accent some flowers!
Thanks for looking
